Computer Shopper

Aplyca developed the new Computer Shopper site with all the functional and design specifications in eZ publish. This includes a new editorial system, product and pricing integration, content migration and user training.

IPC Digital - Japan

Aplyca was chosen to migrate the IPC Digital news portal, directed at informing spanish and portuguese speaking population in Japan.

La Prensa

La Prensa, the leading newspaper in Honduras, chose Aplyca to set up its system for content management. This project involved moving the newspaper to a new platform, analysis and export of close to 140,000 news items, improvements to the database, a support service contract with SLA (Service Level Agreements), and on-site training.

The technical team at La Prensa was trained in eZ publish development, resulting in their own development of two portals (ElHeraldo.hn and Diez.hn) in the next year.

Universitiy of Los Andes - Business School

The University of Los Andes Business School is considered to be a leading business school in Latin America.

Universitiy of Los Andes - School of Economics

Aplyca developed the School of Economics for Univesity of Los Andes. The leading Economics school in Colombia is also home for CEDE, a famous center for economic research.

The site includes a thorough eZ publish implementation covering academic, research and student services.

Grupo Editorial Santillana
Website for Grupo Santillana Publishing Company in Colombia, one of the leading publishers of novels, essays and school texts in latin america. The website includes a catalog of titles, authors, and education programs, as well as the sites for their different publishing divisions, and the sites for their education outreach programs for professionals, teachers, and students.

Informática

Informática Datapoint is the largest HP/Compaq distributor in the country, serving large corporations and government clients. The site included eZ publish implementation, design, training and preparing local infrastructure for the site.

Allware

Allware is an importer and distributor of computers accessories in Colombia. The site included eZ publish implementation and data import of their existing database of more than 1500 products.

Tribeca

Tribeca Capital Partners is a private investment fund with important holdings in the healthcare sector (SUMA, EMI Emergencias, and UCM Uruguay) as well as in apparel (Onda de Mar). The website was launched to coincide with the company's mention in a Forbes Magazine special report on Colombia.

Axesat-Internet Satelital
Corporate site for this satellite-based ISP. Included overall site graphic design and development as well as several Flash animations.

Gridcon Consultores (Ecuador)
Gridcon is a leading consultanting and research company in the real estate area. Aplyca designed and developed the multilingual site as well as special applications like Avaluo Express, an online real esta valuation system available in Ecuador´s main cities as well as Gridcon Extranet which provides detailed information on new housing projects in Quito.

Universidad de los Andes – School of Arts and Humanities (Colombia)
Information architecture, web design and development for the five departmental sites. We also implemented a web-based content administration tool for non-technical staff.

Baru latino (Canada)
Baru is a stylish and trendy new latino restaurant in Vancouver. The site uses multimedia content to highlight its uniqueness.

Compañía Mundial de Seguros (Colombia)
With an internally developed website, Mundial Seguros needed a complete redesign of their site in line with their business renovation strategy. Aplyca designed and developed the site which includes an education insurance rate calculator and online application.

Axesat-Internet Satelital (Colombia)
Web site design, development, online marketing strategy, email newsletters and hosting for a leading satellite-based ISP.

Gerlein Orthodontics (USA)
Concept, design and development for Gerlein Orthodontics, runner up in the MATSCO Dental Design Competition 2004 for its outstanding architecture, interior design and dental technology.

Navy– Republic of Colombia
This was a site redesign project, seeking a more attractive and usable design, backed by a strong information architecture.

The site includes integration with the Micrositios content management system.

Biblored (Colombia)
Biblored, the institution that manages the network of public libraries in Bogotá, Colombia is known for its innovative use of architecture in public buildings as well as being the winner of the prestigious “Access to Learning 2002" award given by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Aplyca developed a multimedia presentation for the 2003 Book Fair.

Army – Republic of Colombia (2004)
Complete site design for this institutional portal, which highlights the Army’s commitment to the local communities and their respect of Human Rights.

The site includes integration with the Micrositios content management system.

Air Force – Republic of Colombia
After the successful experiences of both the Colombian Army and Navy, Aplyca has been selected to redesign the Colombian Air Force site to complement its institucional image and improve user experience.

Vicepresidency of Colombia

Aplyca designed and developed the Shared Responsibility Campaign portal to support the Vicepresidency’s efforts to increase global awareness of illegal drugs effects in violence, socioeconomical effects and environment hazards.

Econe – Jewelry

E-commerce system implementation for London based Econe jewelry store. The solution includes stock and price synchronization and integration, online payment functionality and integration with their local point of sale system. The project was carried out through One World Market web development company in London.

Corral Maldonado Asociados

Corral Maldonado is a well known Real Estate company with Colombian coverage. The project included eZ publish implementation, an integrated property catalog with J2EE information system as well as continued development of new functionality and integration.

Aplyca created extensions for data collection and export through the web developing company One World Market in London.
