La Prensa, the leading newspaper in Honduras, chose Aplyca for a complete overhaul of its online publishing platform. The newspaper is part of the OPSA Media Group.
This project involved:
- Moving the newspaper to a new platform
- Analysis and migration of more than 140,000 articles from flat files and SQL databases
- On-site training for advanced eZ Publish development
- High Traffic infrastructure
La Prensa received wide exposure as a high quality implementation of eZ Publish CMS. It won the Site of the Month award on eZ.no and was nominated for Project of the Year at the eZ awards in 2007. OPSA implemented a very nice site redesign in 2009.
